After nearly 7 years Max leaves us to pursue his international career, having been a regular and outstanding player for St. Jo’s since joining in Reception in 2013.
Best known for being behind set piece plays and a thunderous right foot, he will be sorely missed as a player and friend to all the boys and coaches.
Under a guard of honour he was applauded off the pitch following last week’s 7-2 thrashing of St. James, albeit he was unable to play through illness he was however not going to let that stand in the way of turning up to support his teammates.
We all wish Max the very best and send him on his way with a St. Jo’s shirt signed by coaches and players, and the testimonial proceeds of half a Kit Kat.
Good luck too to Joch, himself a large presence off the field and without whom the remaining coaches are likely to be a little less verbal towards the opposition moving forward!
All at St. Jo’s will be looking out for your progress.
